Who is Eternal Hope? He is one of the best students in our school. Just as his name, he is the hope of the future, while we are not.
My first sight of him was the first class of my senior high school life. I had not noticed him actually. It was the praise of my headteacher that pointed out that he was the student who got the highest score in the enrollment of our school.
That made him a bit shy. It suddenly dawned on me that I must be his friend one day, and that day wouldn’t take too long.
Precisely, three days later, I met him in the school library. He was more than diligent. From his word, I knew that he had been learning by himself in the last 2 yrs and had learned a lot ahead of time. This truly surprised me. A student who is at the passage between the junior high and senior high could do calculus. This is amazing.
From the later communication, I learned that he was not so good when he had been inspired by mathematics in Grade 8. That was his turning point. It is his diligence and intelligence that support him to be so good.
Eternal Hope also had confusions, weaknesses and dislikes. But what I took them as is obstacles, while he took them as opportunities to develop his abilities.When he had no ideas of something, he would prefer challenge himself to giving up just like what I would do.
Since we separated last year, we have been studied in different class. But the result had never changed. He keeps his first place and I keeps learning the way he studies. We sometimes met at the city library, and say hello, then word hard together.
He changed a lot in the past yr. Most apparently, he also tried to what animations. His favorite is “Violet Evergarden”. He is also asking me about softwares, hardwares and information technologies, as well as other about network, which reflects that he has a wide habits.
This is a short ending. Actually this s my first time to writing a passage at this length. Pretty tiring!
As one of his friend, I feel rather thrilled to write a mono for him. Someone may be confusing about his nickname. This is taken from a T-shirt of his, also the clothing he was on when I met him for the first time. 「Eternal Hope」, I thought, can accurately represent his characteristic and the hope he was given on, also reflecting my great honor and his respectful figure.
